One month has past since my last entry. You might think there should be totally much to tell now, but I've decided to keep it short. My American adventure is not over by now. I still have more than three months to go. Actually I feel it had only just begun. Getting closer to the end makes me anxious. This year abroad has changed my whole life and the process is still in progress.
I've never felt so free in my life!
I've never felt so free in my life!
My native land is Germany, but the world is my home now. I've accepted the fact that I'm not able to settle down anywhere. Movement is my energy.
Well, new philosophy, new blog entry, new music! ;-)
Even though we almost reached the end of April the temperatures are still incredible low. Freezing, brrr! I try to make the best of the weather, though.
My hostfamily made a birthday party for me four weeks ago. I invited Cecile, Inga and Romina. It was a nice evening. My friend Svenja visited me the weekend after. We had a great time hanging around in my home, on the beach, in the forest or wherever. One week later again I had a really big surprise for my hostfamily. Megan's favorite Au Pair Sarah came to visit us for a week. The moment of the surprise was priceless. I'll never forget the delighted faces of my hostfamily! ;-) We had a funny week together. She left about on week ago. Now Easter is almost here. Time flies! I can't wait for the summer. I've so many plans for the next months... and years. Keep you updated!
The ocean is beautiful all-year.
Wild geese are back...
...and other birds also!
How peaceful!
Imagine how people would look at me if I do shopping in that outfit in Germany!
I'm a dreamer and star-gazer, haha.
Like I said... ;-)
Enjoying the small things. :-)
Enjoying the BIG things, hahahaha!
My hostchild Megan, old au pair Sarah and me getting our 15 seconds of fame at Times Square. ;-)
